  • About Us

Jennifer Mae: "I am a graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Film and Media Studies. Photography and Video have been a passion of mine since I was only 11 years old. The thing that I love most about shooting weddings, is getting to know the couples and becoming friends in the process!

Chris: "I am also a graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Film and Media Studies. I have worked in the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember. The thing that I love most about shooting weddings, may sound pretty cliche, but it's true. I love capturing one of the happiest days in someone's life."

  • Why do we shoot weddings?

We love weddings! Everything about them! Each experience to us is fresh, new and exciting. We are definitely not the company that you hire if you are looking for someone to show up and hit record. Our passion is story telling and that is exactly what we do... Tell your story. We understand what it feels like to go through the process of a wedding :-) as we are a husband wife team and we have been there ourselves! One of the most important things in you coming together is that you are both individuals and we look for the unique qualities that make you fit perfectly as a couple! A wedding is much more than saying "I do". It is many days, months and in most cases many years in the making. We put as much love into capturing your day as you have put into creating it! We love working with couples who are as passionate about us capturing their wedding as we are :-) We would love to hear about your big day!

We had the privilege of recently shooting Farhad and Helen’s wedding at One Fort Mason in San Francisco. I don’t think I have ever heard more lovely speeches about a couple. The love shown by Helen and Farhad’s friends and family was sweeter than a perfect strawberry. I remember while I was filming, thinking “I am so blessed to capture weddings as a career.”
Wait until you see the fantastic wedding cake they had. It was made by Farhad’s sister, Najmia. Not only was it beautiful, as you will see in the film, but it was scrumptious! We first experienced one of Najmia’s cakes at our wedding in Pacific Palisades. Yep! She made mine and Chris’ wedding cake as well. We thought is was so sweet of her to travel up to San Francisco, from her Southern California Specialty cake shop Wild Flour Cakes and make their cake!!!
Mandy Scott, from Mandy Scott Flowers was not only their coordinator, but their wedding designer. The decor was out of a movie, from the flowers to the style, Mandy tied the whole day together with a bow. She was such a pleasure to work with… and of course her amazing design style made capturing their day, like walking into a candy shop, for any cinematographer or photographer.
I can’t wait to see the photos from Marcel and Meher Photographers as it is the first time we worked with them and it seemed like they were creating some amazing photographs…

The whole day was such a treat….

We sure hope you enjoy the highlight’s of their very special day.

Much Love

I am not quite sure if I have seen two individuals in love like Jules and Solange. Learning about their journey to the alter, makes one appreciate the Romeo and Juliet love that is deeper than the ocean. Their story could be made into a movie. When we shot their wedding we did not have a blog, so there was never a time that they could send it out to their loved ones overseas. We wanted to give them that opportunity to share that day with those who were not able to make it, as well as to those who were part of that wonderful day.

Much love
Jennifer Mae and Chris
