Wow Wow Wow!!! I don’t know where to begin. We first met them a couple months ago in a little coffee shop in Union square, San Francisco while they were in town for the weekend. We walked through the door and immediately spotted them by their sweet closeness to one another. After our meeting both Chris and I felt incredibly inspired by their personality, style and adorable love for one another.
We had the opportunity to spend a little time together again last week while we were in Los Angeles shooting. In addition, we were able to meet their amazing dogs. We created a fun piece for their wedding to show their friends and family a bit about them, their love for one another, and their absolute love of their dogs. While we were shooting them I asked her to complete the statement TOGETHER WE ARE…
and she replied.. { PERFECT }
after the time we have spent close to and at a distance, I have to admit that I believe that together they are absolutely perfect, just as their wedding was… SIMPLY PERFECT!
As Chris and I have continued to evolve as film makers, so has our deep love of story telling… and just like the stunning gown, I feel like their story had many wonderful and delicate layers. We arrived early morning and Chris was off with the guys who started their day with 9 holes of golf. As the day unfolded, we were just amazed at every little detail that they had thought of, from the perfectly organized tuxes and personalized cuff links to meticulous style and pearl bracelets. AMAZING!!!! They put so much of themselves into everything that it felt like every piece of the wedding was a part of them.
The story we were blessed to tell seemed like a fairy tale!
The flowers were incredible!!! From the second that Thierry Chantrel pulled up in his vintage truck to the final presentation, it was art in motion. Terry and his crew were pure talent!!! The location that they chose, was beautiful beyond description. However, this was not just some random spot chosen with a dart and a map, it was a place that has had meaning to the groom his whole life. Gerard and the staff were simply gems, making it easy to understand why this was the perfect location to feel at home. We really loved finding, capturing and telling their story. The SAME DAY EDIT was just a taste of all the wonderful moments that they shared.
I have to say…we felt honored to be part of their most special day!
