We first met Genevieve + Randell in Union square in San Francisco a year ago, while people were ice skating in the background and holiday lights were flickering. It is utterly magical there during the holiday season! If you have ever been there, them you know exactly what I mean. They are both very soft spoken and maybe a little shy at times, but when it comes to their love for each other and their commitment to their family and friends, they lay everything on the table.
To start this was the largest bridal party that I think I have ever seen! In total there were over 30… 6 of which were flower girls… And with each individual it seemed there was a special bond! They both checked into their hotel rooms Saturday night and did not see each other until the alter on Sunday afternoon. Even before they opened the doors to reveal Genevieve in her stunning gown, Randell was filled with emotion and couldn’t keep his eyes dry. Did I mention it was their 12 year anniversary and they had been waiting for this moment for a very long time? It was so emotional watching the love between the two of them as Genevieve walked down the aisle. I have to admit that my eyes completely welled up, making it difficult to focus my camera. The two of them have had such a beautiful journey and through their journey they even graduated college together and both became nurses.
It was such a joy to share in this incredible day with two loving and kind individuals! We will be adding some photos from their day to this post, so stay tunned.. but for now, please enjoy their Same Day Edit!!!
This was one of the most unique weddings that we have had the honor of being a part of. Tori and Steve were married at the AT&T Ball Park in San Francisco California. Not only that, but they were married on the pitchers mound. How cool is that??? The park has a real special place in the hearts of both Tori and Steve. It has been a big part of each of their lives individually and separately. The first thing that attracted me to Tori was that when she contacted us and we asked her what type of ceremony, she replied “fun”. I knew right away it would be a great fit! It’s funny, because they didn’t see each other before the wedding and I felt like once Tori and Steve walked down the aisle together, they both had a magic about them. Tori became incredibly playful and it seemed as if she was at home.
Tori really wanted to take advantage of the space to it’s full capacity, so we were able to do something really cool, which was to show their Same Day Edit on the Jumbo Tron! Just before it was showtime, both Tori and Steve went over to their incredible Candy bar filled with Super long licorice ropes, cinnamon bears, jelly bellies and more! It was a perfect treat to accompany the film. Directly afterward they had a late night munchie bar with mini burgers, fries and more…
I wondered how they would transform the field into the reception area. What I pictured was absolutely nothing compared to the incredible work of Cassandra and her team from Downey Street Events. She was a pure joy to work with and really created something that a bride could only dream of!
When you watch the video, you will see how much work was put into this spectacular event. It was such a treat to share in their day. We hope you enjoy just a taste of it!!!

It seems like only yesterday that we met Kay of Kay and Rich, but it was just around this time last year. We had the honor of shooting her corporate head shots and then a few months later their holiday party. I think Chris and I fell in Love with her right away! When she told us she was getting married on 9·10·11 we knew that her fiance had to equally spectacular! We were right! Rich is one of the most loved guys and kindest souls that we have met.
Rich is a Naval Aviator, so the first time that we were able to meet him was at their rehearsal. But, we could tell instantly that they were a great fit! We had such a great time with them down in San Diego! Their rehearsal dinner was on the roof top of the Natural History Museum and the views were wonderful! They stayed in a beautiful hotel called The US Grant where they got ready and experienced their first look and their ceremony and reception was right on the water of the Admiral Kidd Club.
The whole day was amazing. At the end of the evening when we set up the Same Day Edit, they had two screens there pulled down on both sides of the Reception that allowed everyone to have a fantastic view. As we were getting ready to leave we found out that Kay’s mom was out of the room and had missed the SDE…. So we pulled out the laptop and went to the bridal suite and the three of us played the video again. It was even more emotional the second time. It was so sweet to be sitting there with Kay and her mom watching their day in such an intimate setting. I think I will remember that moment forever.
We hope you enjoy just a little taste of their day!

Jen and Chris, with great artistry you managed to capture the magical essence of this very special day. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about this video, and those who watch it who were not able to make the wedding somehow feel as though they were there with us. It was just *perfect*. Thank you.

I don’t know where to start….I’m still crying. That was one of the most no no no it was thee most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen. What a handsome couple. Much love to you both and all the happiness you both deserve.
Love,
Margie
Rarely do we go into a wedding day without ever having met a couple, as it allows us to get to know each individual a little better and it creates a sense of comfort on the day of the wedding. However, with Parish and Tricia who were doing a destination wedding, walking into their prep was really the first time that we had met. Surprisingly, we instantly connected and felt like we had known each other for some time. The day was filled with treats and wonderful details!
Tricia’s dress was stunning to say the least. We found a little forest nearby to film her dress… which was really cool.
It was wonderful to see all of their family and friends together working to make the day extra special. Parish has the most wonderful laugh right as he realizes that Tricia is on her way to the alter. I giggle in enjoyment every time I watch that moment, as it is soooo sweet! They really had a fun and connected energy that was incredible! By the end of the day we were hugging each other goodbye…
The wedding and reception took place at the beautiful V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena.
We had the opportinity to work with Shannon of Shannon Stellmacher Photography. I think she is one of the most talented wedding photographers out there. I can’t wait to see the images that she captured with Parish and Tricia!!!
We hope you enjoy the beautiful Same Day Edit of Parish and Tricia!

Jen Mae and Chris … you guys are both so amazing! We loved the same day edit and I think all our guests did too. 🙂 It was wonderful seeing the day unfold on film later during the reception — there were tons of things I missed seeing while I was getting ready and it was just fabulous to watch!! I’ve watched it almost every day for a week since it posted (and I end up wanting to cry every time I get to the part where my daddy walks me down the aisle)! Thank you so much!!
