  • About Us

Jennifer Mae: "I am a graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Film and Media Studies. Photography and Video have been a passion of mine since I was only 11 years old. The thing that I love most about shooting weddings, is getting to know the couples and becoming friends in the process!

Chris: "I am also a graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Film and Media Studies. I have worked in the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember. The thing that I love most about shooting weddings, may sound pretty cliche, but it's true. I love capturing one of the happiest days in someone's life."

  • Why do we shoot weddings?

We love weddings! Everything about them! Each experience to us is fresh, new and exciting. We are definitely not the company that you hire if you are looking for someone to show up and hit record. Our passion is story telling and that is exactly what we do... Tell your story. We understand what it feels like to go through the process of a wedding :-) as we are a husband wife team and we have been there ourselves! One of the most important things in you coming together is that you are both individuals and we look for the unique qualities that make you fit perfectly as a couple! A wedding is much more than saying "I do". It is many days, months and in most cases many years in the making. We put as much love into capturing your day as you have put into creating it! We love working with couples who are as passionate about us capturing their wedding as we are :-) We would love to hear about your big day!

There is soooo much that I could talk about with Darlene and Robert that I am not sure where to start!

Well I think the cutest thing about these two is that they met in third grade.  I know, it already shouts Hollywood film!  It get’s even sweeter… They became friends when Darlene wanted to impress Robert by showing him her cartwheel at recess.  Shortly after they became best friends… and in the process developed a crush on one another…

Over the years their families had moved, but distance couldn’t keep them apart.   They faced many challenging times through Darlene going off to college and Robert off to the Navy  It seems nothing could keep them apart.

They have such a sweet and innocent love for one another and when you see them together it feels as if they could take on the world.

One of the most fun things about their wedding was being able to see Chad and Erica,  they were a couple who we were able to share in their wedding nearly a year ago.  Erica is now pregnant and they are about to have their first baby.  Chad MC’ed the event, so it was a real treat!

It’s always beautiful to us to see how far love reaches and how deep it grows.  There were so many emotional parts of their day.  Plus there was an incredible amount of playfulness and joy shared by all.

Darlene had this leather bracelet on her wrist and said she never takes it off.  I could tell that it was important to her so I wanted to include it as a detail shot.  As I was filming it I saw it had a mans name engraved into it.  When I took it back to her I asked her if she would tell me the story.  “Was this your fathers?” I asked. What came out of her mouth next was one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.  She explained that when she was 19 years old she purchased it. It carries the name and birthdate of a fallen soldier.  He was killed before his 20th birthday.  She has worn the bracelet ever since.  It has been with her on every little and major journey as she started wearing it at the age he left off.  She said that it allowed him to have all the experiences that he had missed out on.  As I watched her petite wrist carry this heavy leather band I knew that he was right up there with them at the alter.  In the opening of the Same Day Edit the Darlene is reciting her vows and says “I promise to be true to you”  at that moment the clip cuts to the beautiful bouquet with the band carrying Jerry’s name on it.  Because I knew in that moment she is one to keep her promises.

We felt honored to be part of such an important day to Darlene and Robert.. We hope you enjoy watching their Same Day Edit.

Denise Valencia - Major Diamond Production – What a Fabulous job you did on Robert (Nephew) & Darlene’s (New Family Member) wedding video. It’s Amazing how quickly you were able to edit & put it together, so that we were all able to preview it at their wedding. I couldn’t wait to get your business card & look forward to using your services at the next special occassion. I showed the video to the ladies at work & there wasn’t a dry eye in the office.
I can’t say enough to express how Beautifully it all came out! Wonderful, Amazing, etc!

Kathryn Meagher - Wonderful! Well done. Too bad I did not hire your services for my daughter’s wedding 7 years ago. I wish I had video of my own wedding 33 years ago. But who knew then such technology was possible. Maybe on some future anniversary. Will keep your production company in mind. Cheers!

Courtney Nolet - This video gave me chills! Love it!

One of our very favorite places to shoot is at The Palm Event center. The staff there is always so thoughtful and professional. We look forward to walking through their doors every time! Each time we go there we always have a different and unique experience with our couples. Each one has been a thrill. However, this weekend we were there with Sophia and Derrick and I don’t know if we have every experienced such a gracious couple. From their snack bags for vendors to their beautiful thank you toast, they made everyone feel special.  On a day where it should have been all about them, they made it all about everyone in their life and the people who were there to ensure it all came together. We not only loved watching the love that they had for one another, but the love that everyone had for them.
This was the first time that we worked with Caroline Tran from Caroline Tran Photography (another husband wife team) and they were both a joy to shoot and be creative with. Can’t wait to see her photos!!!  We would definitely recommend her.

Here is just a taste of their beautiful day!  Hope you enjoy!

Meinard - Awesome video! Awesome couple. I want to hear the vows! 😉

Nancy and Charles are two of the sweetest people… It’s funny because we had never met them before their wedding day and choosing a song was a challenge. We chose two options and figured we would see how the day went. The more we got to know them and watch the love that they had for one another, Andy Grammer’s “Fine By Me” won. It felt perfect for the overwhelming love that not only they shared, but the deep love that was shown by Charles. You can see it in the video. It reminds me of the way that every girl wants to be looked at. We really loved sharing in their day and we hope that you do as well…

This is the video that we screened last night at their reception. Enjoy!
